Research Output

The cross disciplinary work undertaken in CeRDI has enabled the delivery of innovative research that has impacted in the real world and empowered communities. CeRDI researchers have been proactive in disseminating these research findings to national and international audiences through refereed journal publications and conference proceedings.

CeRDI's research publications have also contributed to Federation University's recent success in the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) metrics, particularly in the following Fields of Research:

  • Physical geography and environmental science
  • Information systems
  • Human movement and sports science

CeRDI's established programme of impact research will enable critical analysis across and between six core innovation projects. The findings will contribute significantly to the knowledge base about technological innovation, sustained practice change, and industry, community and stakeholder empowerment. The research outcomes will be prioritised for dissemination in publications targeting industry and academia to extend the current debate and knowledge in eResearch.
