Law4Community launched

Members of the CeCC Team participated in the Law4Community launch on 19 May 2010.

Law4community is an innovative new website for community sector workers and the community, providing accessible legal information via a simple three step directory. The new site is simple to navigate and is written in plain English making finding appropriate legal services very easy.

Law4 Community features include:

• A legal services directory, which can locate legal services based on a client's presenting problem
• A series of practical legal checklists that will help community sector workers identify possible legal issues when interviewing clients
• A collection of articles on current social reform.
• Information on alternative dispute resolution, mediation, and how to access ombudsmen

Law4Community is an initiative of Fitzroy Legal Service which has attracted funding support from the Legal Services Board
