NBN Co 12 month construction schedule added to NBN and regional telecommunications maps

Drawing on publicly accessible data, CeCC has produced National Broadband Network maps displaying the locations of the first and second stage release sites, indicative fibre and wireless locations and the initial Points of Interconnect across Australia.

As part of the ICT studies CeCC have recently been coordinating, ICT survey results have also been mapped for the Great South Coast Regional Communication Strategy, Yarra Ranges Opportunity Assessment for Economic and Community Growth through the Broadband Economy, Wimmera Southern Mallee ICT Study, Central Highlands ICT Study and the Moorabool Community Broadband and Telecommunications Strategy. The maps automatically update as new survey responses are submitted and provide a spatial representation of the perceptions local government areas and tows have of ICT.
